Divya Venkateswaran, a is a singer, trained in Carnatic (South Indian) classical music. She is a disciple of Guru Smt.Padma Ganapathy, from Mumbai, India. Divya has been teaching Carnatic classical vocal music for a decade. She is currently pursuing her advance training from Guru Smt.Bhavadhaarini Anantharaman. She has performed at various places in India and USA, the genre of music comprising of classical, semi-classical, devotional and contemporary. She has also performed Indian folk dances representing her school and college in India and in US. She has been a part of Surati since 2006, as an instructor, performer and production manager.y

Anusha Rao Anusha has been dancing to Bollywood songs since she was 14. She participated in many intra/inter institutional competitions since then. Influenced by an exceptional Bollywood actress/dancer Madhuri Dixit, she started mimicking her moves and tried to perfect her dance sequences from her films. After coming to the United States of America, she expanded her horizons by dancing with other Bollywood dance troupes performing at various Indian festivals like Diwali and Holi. She also performed the International Night Series at Kennedy Plaza, Altantic City and Madison Square Garden. Apart from her Bollywood moves, she also loves to showcase her immense energy through Bhangra and hip-hop. Johnnie Neil is co-artistic director of The Donovan Ensemble, based in Union City, NJ. He created the role of Emmet in Super Spectacular! having performed the show from Tennessee to Saskatchewan. Johnnie sang seven seasons with The Minnesota Opera, danced his way to Central America performing with dance-theater troupe Shawn McConneloug and Her Orchestra, and hoofed his way to Boston tapping with Joe Chvala and His Flying Foot Forum. He holds a B.A. from Centenary College of Louisiana and an M.A. in Theater /Speech from Louisiana Tech University. Johnnie also studied at Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris.
Moushumi Phukan Gupta, an established Bihu performer, brings a wealth of knowledge in the field of traditional folk dances from India with her forte being in the very graceful dance form from Assam called Bihu. An ardent performer, Moushumi has, many a times done India proud by giving enthralling stage performances in diffrent countries. She has also participated in many presitigious dance festivals-Kharavella, Antaragni, Octave to name a few. She has performed plays in the famed National School Of Drama (NSD) on the occasion of Bharat Rang Mahotsav.. Calai Chandra, a disciple of Hema Rajagopalan of Chicago. She later pursued MFA in Bharata-Natyam, under eminent scholar Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam of Chennai. Calai is featured every year in major dance festivals of Chennai, Bangalore and Trivandrum, and in many more Temple Cities of Tamil Nadu during Shiva-Ratri. She was Resident-Artiste at Magnet Schools of Chicago. A recipient of Illinois Arts Council Apprenticeship ward, she has also been conferred “Natya Ratna” by Natya Dance Theatre of Chicago, and “Natya Maitreyi” by Vari Foundation of New York City, for her Creative Excellence.
Shoko Tamai, Born in Japan, began her Professional ballet career at the young age of 2, winning gold medal in the New York Ballet Competition in 2005, then went on to compete and medal in various dance competition all over the world. Shoko’s performance achievements includes Black Swan’s solo from Swan Lake Act 3, The Nutcracker(Sugar Plum Fairy) Pas de Deux, The Sleeping Beauty(Aurora)`s Pas de Deux from Act 3 and Aurora`s solo from Act
1, among many others. Besides from being a very talented and super-creative ballet dancer, Shoko also enjoys deejay and acting. Shoko's dream is to one day open her own dance studio to share her talent and the love for dance to future generations.
Sattam Deb a versatile vocalist and multi-instrumentalist specializes in many genres of music. His musical virtuoso spans across the guitar, drums, bass, piano and tenor saxophone. He honed his skills to perfection upon entering university to be a part of the prestigious collegiate a cappella group "the generics" - He is currently involved in various bands in Manhattan ("Eventually Epic" and "All World") where he showcases a wide variety of tunes ranging from popular tunes from the 80's to present day and original compositions. He is known for his large range, soulful stylings, control and stamina and he constantly strives to improve further.
Sumana Murthy ("DJ Sumie") has been DJing in the Tri-State area for almost 5 years. Starting off by hosting "iPod dance parties," in her college dorm room, she discovered her knack for getting the crowd on the dance floor.
