	Arati Ghosh Salsa Fusion

Salsa Fusion (Friday) 6:00 – 7:00 PM	Arati has been learning various dance from from 2004, which include Jazz, Contemporary, ballet, ballroom ,bollywood and latin dances, with prime focus on Salsa. She has learnt in well-known studios in India and the US with both group and private classes. She is very well conversant with both styles of Salsa, Salsa on 1 and Salsa on 2, however she is more proficient in salsa-on-1. She started a dance company called Soul Salsa, in 2009, teaching salsa, bollywood, bollyfusion and dance fitness. Wehn she moved to the US 2.5 years back she started the Soul Salsa- New York chapter and has been teaching group and private classes in Manhattan and Jersey City. The classes are absolute beginner to beginner level, geared towards making sure one can do the salsa basics in your sleep and have fun while you are at it! There is a mix of workout, technique work, steps and styling and the interesting twist is that she has used a lot of Bollywood music as well as western and latin music. Due to her wide range of experience across styles, she is able to mix up the steps to make it more effective for the body and for the mind/soul with special focus on technique and body-safety. .
