Kathak is one of the classical dance forms of India hailing from the northern Indian states of State of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan split in to 3 distinct houses or "Gaharanas", Lucknow, Benaras and Jaipur. Known for its fast foot movements it is akin to Tap Dance. Students will be introduced to the dance form and its many nuances.
